Fitting a square into a circle

So i had a nice dinner just now at Chili's with my dear. The chicken is so nice, even though it's chicken breast, it tastes so tender and juicy. Not like those usual ones you eat outside where it's dry and not appetizing at all. Wonder what they put/ do to make it so yummy.

Food aside, we had a long talk, sharing happenings in the past week and new people we met.. It was then i realise i've been in this circle of mine for so long. Somehow, i want to thank my dad for bringing me out of this circle, and showed me that there are ovals and squares out there. Not something that could replace my circle, but instead, compliment it and add some excitement to my life.

I used to think that, circles and squares do not mix. In fact, geometrically they don't. You can fit a square in a circle, or the other way round, but they will not be able to fill each other out completely.

However, artists have a way of manipulating your minds and tricking you into thinking that circles and squares are meant for each other. But, that's not my point. My point is... circles and squares do not really need to fit each other perfectly. They just need to tolerate each other and not throw a fit when they cannot fill in the corners and sides.

Just like in a relationship. It doesn't matter what shape that you find. It doesn't matter if they do not fit you the way you wanted them to be. What matters is still, you both agree that the spaces not filled are not really that important anyway. So what if they are not filled. It brings out even more of the beauty of the relationship.

Today i learnt that, sometimes you just have to forgive yourself, before you try to forgive people. If you can't climb over that wall of yours, how are you suppose to see clearly what is happening on the other side?

For Your Punishment!

Boys and girls, have you decided on your FYP?

Okay i think "half" of my audience do not need to fret about this any time soon. But i do! So i am currently going through the projects, again and again, over and over again. And right now i have 5 choices, not sure if it's final or not. I think i will save it first. Just in case something happens during the deadline period.

Countdown: 2 days 2 hours.

Seriously, what am i expecting.

Freedom comes when you least expect it.

Nah scratch that.

Joy from freedom arises when someone pushes you off the building.

Yeap. That's me.

What's there to con?

HAHA! I never realise the typo in my title description until just now. So now it's gonna get the CAPS attention it deserves. Shame on you follower(s) for not spotting it. =P

Good night people!

House is in da house!

The pictures are showing again! Is it some browser problem or.... Anyways.

Today, was a bucketful of mixed feelings.

Okay, i was distracted from blogging because House was on TV. Next Monday is the season finale!! OMG i can't wait! Anyone has the complete set of House?

Time to sleep. Here's a quiz i did on facebook but did not want to share it with the whole world. Not because it describes me well, but because it did not do so. (My friend's was like, Bingo. Hmph.)

Swift as wind, chances are they don't wait.

Ah great i just realise the pictures are not showing on my previous post. Will fix it later.

So today went out to Low Yat with dear to fix his laptop. Poor thing. Haven't even pass its 3-month anniversary after it was fixed last time because of a fried LCD display. This time the chipset was fried. All because of the same problem. NVidia 8 series heat dissipation problem. My Dell also faced the same problem some time ago but it's not giving me any problem since they replace the motherboard promptly after it broke down.

So after surrendering his BenDanQ to the repairman, we went scourge around for a possible replacement. Acer and BenQ was out of the question, and he was thinking of his dream baby HP DV2 so we went around looking for it.

Oh look! Sitting right there. When i rest my hands beside the touchpad, straight away i knew he'll be disappointed. The heat is already more than lukewarm, even when the system is idle. Ah... So it's not so perfect after all.

After much debate, it boils down to whether you want portability or specs. It's hard to have both, unless, well... you know, $$$.

So after that we went to find mr. eel and CH. Although it's been a year we didn't see each other, it seems like only a week ago. It's great to catch up with what's been going on with our lives for the past one year... But alas, mr eel is going for another "vacation" to Taiwan soon. You're really enjoying yourself huh. :)

Opportunites do come and go, and lesson learnt that once you miss it, it's hard to come across the same junction anymore. This reminded me of the movie, Yes Man which despite is the kind of movie not many would like to watch, is actually a remake of a novel written by a man. This guy lead a really normal life, until one day he decided to do an experiment by saying Yes to everything that comes to him. After months of experiment, he found himself in situations he had never imagine himself in before. Visiting new places and countries he had never seen before, meeting people and doing stuff that he never imagine he will have the guts to do it. Just imagine how much "life" are you missing out... if only you could think twice about saying No.

Maybe you can try it out some day, just for a day, 24 hours, say Yes. It might change your life, if not, your perspective of life.
